Peter Schroeder - Executive Director
Peter has been involved in the banking and finance industry for over 30 years, with the majority of that operating as a Finance Broker. Peter helped establish Bidgee Finance in Mildura before moving to establish MFL in 2000. He is well versed in all aspects of the finance industry and has a flair for business development being instrumental in MFL’s push into the aggregation market. His current role sees him developing MFL’s agent networks nationally and providing strategic direction to the business, he also is actively involved in the MFAA Commercial & Equipment Committee at both a State and National level.

Darren Oborne - General Manager Operations
Darren has been in involved in the finance industry for 25 years and is the General Manager of Operations for the Mildura Finance group and oversees the day to day operations of MFL. Darren has extensive background in all finance aspects and has been with MFL for over 10 years. Darren is passionate about his football side Geelong and enjoys spending time with his wife Karen and Daughter Jorja.

Mark Cornell - Plant & Equipment Manager
Mark’s involvement with the finance industry dates back to 1987. From 1987 – 1998, Mark progressed from a Bank Teller to a Commercial Lending Manager with the ANZ Bank. From 1998 – 2003, Mark was employed by the Westpac Banking Group as a Plant & Equipment Finance Manager. From 2003 Mark has continued the role of a Plant & Equipment Finance Manager with MFL. My hobbies include Football, Tennis, General Fitness & undertaking sporting activities with his wife & three sons.

Andrew Black - Motor Vehicle Manager
Andrew joined the MFL team in 2003 after working for the Commonwealth Bank. Andrew’s current role is Manager of the Motor Vehicle and Consumer Finance Department, a position he has held since 2006. Apart from work, Andrew’s other passions are the Richmond Football Club and his family, wife Renee and young children Isabella and Campbell - in that order!!!

Haylee Reid - Business Development Manager/Marketing
Haylee has been with the MFL team since December 2004 in various roles including Plant & Equipment Finance Officer, and the Processing Team Leader. Haylee’s current role includes assisting and signing up new brokers to the EasyLodge system, and assisting them with all scenarios, also her role includes educating brokers on new lender products and marketing to their data base. Apart from enjoying spending time with her daughter Mya & Husband Kurt, Haylee is also a competitor of the Mildura Calisthenics Club.

Bernadette McMillan - Administration Manager
Bernadette moved to Mildura in 2005 after running her own family business and raising a family in western NSW for 15 years. Bernadette joined MFL in July 2007 and oversees all the administration, finance and I.T. for the company. She holds a Diploma in Accounting and also is a registered BAS Agent. Outside interests include riding motorbikes, camping and time with her family.

Colin Sherriff - Home Loan Manager
Colin joined the MFL team in 2007 after working for the Commonwealth bank for 25 years. Colin looks after all aspects of the Home Loan department from Approval to settlement of your home. Colin is also a division 1 pennant member of the Irymple bowls club and has won state championships.

Bree Dawes - Finance Officer
Bree commenced employment with MFL in March 2008. Bree works within the Processing Unit arranging applications from approval to settlement stage and is also Colin Sherriff's assistant in the Home Loan Department.

Di Smith - Finance Officer
Di commenced employment with MFL in December 2008. Di has previously worked in Debt Collection, Car Repossession and Process Service. Di works within the Processing Unit arranging applications from approval to settlement stage. Di enjoys spending time with her partner and 2 children Jack & Molly also she enjoys participating in Softball.

Mark Boromeo - Credit Analyst
Mark joined MFL in January 2010. He holds the position of Credit Analyst overseeing many of the complex & commercial Motor Vehicle & Equipment Finance applications from our extensive agent network. Mark is originally from Leongatha in South Gippsland, but has worked throughout Victoria in his previous 15 years experience with the ANZ Bank / Esanda Finance group. After his time in the banking industry, Mark was with the former broker firm Bidgee Finance for 8 years in Mildura. He has called the Sunraysia District home since 1998, choosing to stay in this area to raise his family. Apart from enjoying family activities, Mark is also into camping, riding motorbikes & helping out in the local community. He is currently Treasurer for the Red Cliffs/Irymple RSL and is a School Council member at the Sunnycliffs Primary School.

Bec Littore - Finance Officer
Bec joined MFL in March 2010. Bec works within the processing unit arranging applications from approval to settlement stage and also is an assistant to Andrew Black in the Motor Vehicle department.

Rachel Grasso - Receptionist
Rachel commenced employment at MFL as a telemarketer from October 2010 until February 2011. Since then she has become MFL’s. Rachel also assists the processing unit and Haylee in the Marketing department. Since finishing year 12 Rachel has worked at Mildura Waves, followed by the Mercure Hotel Mildura starting in Aug 2009 to which she still works a weekend shift. Rachel is a keen Soccer fan and competitor.

Jan-Paul Rensen - Senior Relationship Manager
Born and raised in The Netherlands. I have called Mildura home since September 1995. I joint the Commonwealth Bank in 1996 working in various lending positions, predominately within business banking. In January 2009 I commenced employment with another local finance broker prior to joining MFL in March of this year, Jan-Paul assist Mark Cornell in the Plant & Equipment Department. Have an accountancy background and likes to play squash.

Pasqualina Pascale - Administration Assistant
Pasqualina started with MFL April 2011. Pasqualina joins the team with extensive experience in finance and administration having worked at Bidgee for a number of years and also with Elders finance. Pasqualina is an assistant to Bernadette in the Administration department and is an assistant to Colin in the Home Loans Department.
